'People Who Help Us'
This package allows visitors to build on their existing
knowledge of the Emergency Services. Visitors will gain an
understanding of the function of the Emergency Services and
how they help everyday life. This exciting package will
inspire learning and support the development of visitors
through creative activities.

'The Great Fire of London'
This unique package allows visitors to think objectively
about The Great Fire and explore its impact upon London
life. Visitors will be given the opportunity to develop
their learning through interactive games focusing on the
Great Fire of London which incorporates various learning
styles and teaching approaches. Furthermore, visitors will
be able to make comparisons with current fire practices and
reflect upon and further their own understanding of Fire
Safety.

'Sheffield Blitz and the Second World War'
Visitors will be able to imagine Sheffield illuminated with
fire during the Second World War. This museum was at the
heart of the action and with this package visitors will be
able to hear genuine radio warnings and learn about the
function of the museum at this time. Furthermore visitors
will be able to explore the multiple ways in which Sheffield
Industry helped the Services during the War.

'The Victorians'
Where better to learn about Victorian life than our Museum!
With one of the Country's first purpose built Police Cells,
visitors can step back in time to relive Victorian Life in
the centre of Sheffield. Explore the life and times of the
people who lived and worked in the Fire and Police Station.

'Law and Order'
Focusing specially on the Police Force in relation to Law
and Order. Visitors will gain a unique insight into the
multiple ways in the services function to protect and
rehabilitate and question their effectiveness. By looking at
punishments from the past and present pupils will debate and
discuss their views in relation to this interesting topic.

'Crime and Punishment'
Through creative activities visitors will be able to
evaluate and discuss the effectiveness of various
punishments with regards to specific crime. The workshop is
designed to encourage skills such as empathy and decision
making whilst working in a group, as well as exploring
notions of Crime and Punishment.

'A day in the life of...'
This
education program is designed to teach people how the
Emergency Services work together and the basics of a day to
day Firefighter or Police Officer.

'Smoke house'
The Smoke House is an up and coming inflatable Fire Safety /
Educational hands-on activity using a Fire Service major
incident inflatable shelter to simulate a house fire using
lights, sound and special effects smoke.
